RAM and HDD's are the only changeable things in a LAPTOP. Sorry to tell ya. Unless you have a really high end one. Which even then its limited.

Most GPU and CPU are soldered to the board. So really unless you plan to trash the board getting that off your upgrades are as stated VERY limited.

Good luck finding a board to fit the case.

Your better off if you claim to have money to buy a TOWER and just trash the laptop leaving you with room to upgrade down the road.

is there upgraded versions of the same model of your laptop for example with an i3/i5? depending on whether your CPU is soldered to your motherboard and whether an updated bios can support the voltage ratings with the i3, you can possible upgrade it if like i said there are upgraded version of your laptop within the same model. your gpu experience won't change much though.

I modded my old dell with a new bios chip for overclocking, changed the cpu, changed the TIM and actually a lot of laptops use a socketed CPU. I would get an SSD and get a new CPU if you can.
