Ricochet? :)

My friend and I think this wouldn't be such a bad idea..
Especially in cases where players have armor or lag, you can get a ricochet and damage them. Maybe like -50 or -25 damage off ricochet. I can even see achievements for this LOL, well k bye.

Besides all the lag that would take place from an already laggy bullet banging around the walls....

Hell no would mess up the game. People with MG, especially in gm would spray the walls and the bullets would probably hit a ghosts this is a dumb suggestion.

When bullets hit off of objects/walls/floors and fly off of them hitting other players.

No. Would totally destroy the game. Bullets bouncing off of metal as if there wasn't enough damage going into spraying already. What about people with machine guns? Shotguns?

Snipers would be able to bounce off bullets.
Machine gunners would be able to spray even more.
Shot gunners will have an extreme overpowered advantage at close ranges.

Programming this would be too hard.

Laggers would still tank this.

This probably wouldn't be a good idea.

1st of all GM would become riddled with consistent sprayers all trying to get a ricochet.

2nd it would do some big damage to the competitive and pub scene seeing as you don't have to actually hit a person to kill or hurt them.

How about a special mode, where bullets rebound off walls (only once) and you can only get kills from rebound bullets.

Well then I'll just shoot the nearest piece of metal that would properly ricochet to hit the kid hiding behind that corner. Soooo no. It'd be severely abused.
