WCG CA Qualifiers - OCG AntiCheat (Official Ruling)

I am speaking on behalf of the WCG CA Administrators;

Unfortunately, due to the recent attacks on OCG Anti-Cheat, there will be no anti cheat client provided for these online qualifiers. We apologize to all participants signed up but the recent attacks and the demand for this qualifier to be completed this weekend leaves us with no other choice. Even if the anti cheat is up and running during the qualifiers, we will not use the anti cheat client. Again, we do apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. We fully understand the frustration and issues with not having an anti cheat client for this Online Qualifier. This is out of the hands of WCG Canadian Administrators and all if any complaints in regards to the anti cheat need to be made towards OCG Administrators.

Bandicam will not be used either. The administrators never specified the use of bandicam.

Sorry guys, this is the 4th attack today we are facing... We have mitigated all the other attacks, but they just come in larger and larger, everything should be up tho... in about 10 more min. I wish the admins of WCG would have contacted me, as I had updates for them. Good Luck to the players and sorry for the hassle and these things are unpredictable.

We are online, though we have our site currently being monitored majorly by our company behind us. So I don't think so.

Update: Our anticheat servers are up working, now.

Since the matches have already started, we will not be using the anti cheat. Just for consistency in all matches.

It would be unfair for one team to play on client and then the others not too based on when it is available

I leave tonight for vacation but I should be able to make it. I'm going to contact Gex to see how he is feeling. He left a little early due to the pain he was having from getting his Wisdom teeth pulled but I will have info posted in just a bit!
