Dual Monitor Glitch

When running this game or CS:GO in 8x6 or any other res not 1080p. Its shifts all my folders windows up on the second monitor to the right. Only if I set CS:GO to 1080p my second monitor will look fine anyone have a fix for this? its really annoying.

Post your monitor settings of windows and from the the graphic card software.

I had a GTX 660 Ti and it did the same thing now I have a GTX 550 Ti which is worse then the GTX 660 Ti.
Needed the money so I sold GTX 660 Ti. But getting a GTX 760. But yea those should be the specs.

Both my monitors are 1080p. My Main one I play games on the second one I look at the web. So when I go play crossfire at 800x600 my other monitor shift to the right a little so I lose 75% of my web browser because my screen has shifted over. The icons/Folders go back when I quit the game or alt tab but its annoying. The Main Monitor icons show up on my second screen. I wanna keep my Second Screen 1080p. While Gaming in Crossfire at 800x600.

I haven't found a way around it. If I run two or three monitors.(Even when I had 5) If I run a game at a smaller resolution then my monitor is set too it auto adjusts the other screens.

Only way that you could do it with out effecting it that I can think of off the top of my head sitting here at work. Is running a 2nd card JUST for the 2nd screen which makes no sense to do. But ya.

1920x1080 on CF everything looks small... Thats what she said. But really it does I like playing at the res I do. Guess Ill have to live with the screen messed up.

Ya only way I can think of is running a 2nd card. Now since your not gaming on it. You could run a 250 gts like I got laying around for example which is MORE then enough for just running FB and all that stuff on the other screen. Since your main would be pulling down the Main GPU.

My other slot is a x4 so it would be even worse lol.

Nah it will run. No problems. Your not bringing down GPU for the purpose of gaming just as a EXTRA display.

Mmmm Well when I get my new GTX 760 I will use this pce of shet GTX 550 Ti for physX and other monitor.

With that 760 running the 550 for Physx is useless. In that aspect. Gain will be very minimal.

I mean that the 760 will slaughter the physx. So the 550 woun't give it much of a boost as dedicated since the 760 is pulling it. Also takes you back to the 4x speed for a dedicated Physx card.
