Ocg Season 1 Recap
Well, it's finally over, and we've had a hugely successful run. We're going to be taking a short break before we open back up with a double elimination tournament shortly followed by season 2.
Congratulations to all teams who were able to come out and play every weekend. The playoffs themselves were a huge success, tried out some new rules, and got positive feedback on them. I'd like to thank purvis for streaming throughout the playoffs and to gecks for casting the semi finals and finals. I'd also like to thank all the teams who made it possible for us to run such a successful season.

So without further ado, here are the final placings and prizes
1st: Socks - 500K Zp + 5x Rocat Savu's
2nd: Carbon - 200k Zp + 5 Razer Mousepads
3rd: Fly society - 125k Zp
4th: Flawless - 100k Zp
5th: coolDOWN - 75k Zp
Again thanks to everyone for coming out and participating.
Now start fighting over that wcg prize and get ready for our upcoming tournament and season.

I hate that system lol.
It should be the teams that lost in the quarter finals should all play for 5th. -
There's lots of room to improve!
The season was a huge success and thanks to every team participating!
We've got an announcement coming soon which will continue to guarantee competitive play in CrossFire for the next 2-3 months. We've very excited to continue working with the OCG for more tournaments.
Plus obviously there are still WCG qualifiers going on, and eventually we'll be moving into CF Stars qualifiers and more!
So between local and regional tournaments like the ones coming from OCG (and soon to be ESG) and the international competitions involving CF, we are definitely growing our competitive base.
It's very exciting and we're happy everyone was able to be a part of this OCG Season.
For the winners, once we receive the information from OCG we will be handing out the prizes. We apologize for the delay on the mouse pads from the launch tournament, our turnaround time for the Mice should be much faster!
Note that OCG will be handling the delivery of the Razor pads. -

lol. RTB is a lot better than cooldown js. we deserve the 5th place but k -
Basically what Reid said. We hoped to play for 5th, but for some reason it was decided by whoever lost to first place (which isn't really a good way to determine a prize spot in my opinion) 4 way tie for 5th but Cooldown gets the prize over PDF, RTB, and Vgangsta So congrats I guess to you but next time we would love to play for it
Overall I like the 8 grops of 8 layout. I feel like you should have made it double elimination within the groups so there would be no ties going into the playoffs. Also a double elim playoffs would be better as well. Just my input. -

and I did not know I have to report rite away when I won 1st round though I can just report later after 2nd match against In Theory ~ since we were late lol -

Oh well, I was slow on the upload pics since u request for like 10 pics and 2-3 members of my team dont really know how to post picture on forum and I did not know I have to report rite away when I won 1st round though I can just report later after 2nd match against In Theory ~ since we were late lol

We never intentionally DQ'd you, we asked for Screenshots and it took you 25 mins to upload. -

Well yeah, it was never our intention, just we asked for SS's and took about 25m to upload so OCG staff decided to DQ you guys.
