- The second qualifier is online, which will be held from August 3-4, 2013. Remember, every player must be a Canadian citizen or resident. A team must have at least 3 Canadian citizen and no more than 2 Canadian resident.

Yes, you heard that right. There has been an update in the map pool, as Ceyhan and Compound were added to WCG. Expect a lot of people scrimming on Compound in E8 to prepare themselves!

'nuff said. The team that's led by Doop is looking to dominate the game once more. It was the WOGL-O champion team in 2010 and seems that they will take part in WCG USA once more. Best of luck to them!
-HAMMERTIME v.2?
After the split in the original team (maveloff and 15oL left for Socks, albert left for Carbon) people wondered whether or not HT will be able to come back to its powerful status in E8. However, in the past few days,HT picked up Fresh and Wizdom, both of whom are strong players. Will the current lineup of

With Erick joining Doop's team, LPK, arguably one of the best teams in CFNA disbands, unfortunately.
-Ping Issues
After the latest July Patch, it seems that many people who live on the east coast have gotten their pings lowered to how they were before. However, it seems that people on the west coast and people in other regions in the U.S. have gotten a dramatic increase in ping in the servers located in Toronto. Let's all hope that Z8Games can fix this issue so that people on teams that live in the west coast can get proper practice before WCG USA rolls around.

The purpose of this is to simply present information to readers instead of including any bias/opinion in it (or at least try not to) -

I don't believe there is a July 29th Qualifier for Cross Fire. Other games yes, but Cross Fire no. Events for CF don't start until the 2nd Qualifier event on August 5th. Double check these things
Unless you were posting for all games in a broad sense, but it would probably be best to keep specific dates only pertinent to CF events so that you don't cause any confusion. -
