WCG USA - Citizens

Do you have to be a citizen? I've read that you HAVE to be a citizen but I've also read that only 3 of the 5 people (on a 5 people team) have to be citizens.

I have a student visa.

WCG USA is proud to announce the 2013 official game titles of Team USA. Players will have the opportunity to participate in two online qualification rounds per game. The winning team/player per qualifier in each game will receive stipened travel to the national finals, where they will compete for the opportunity to represent Team USA. Players must be United States citizens to compete, and will not be allowed to qualify for multiple games.

Been to China 12 times. I just wonna play, not really hoping for a qualification. Gonna do my best anyways

Yeah, this is what they have on their site, but I think Andre contacted WCG directly and they confirmed that each team is allowed to have two (2) permanent residents.

I don't have a green card though...Student Visa. I won't be able to compete will I..

I don't think it matters unless you get to/win Nationals. After all, they let Jatt play both USA and CA qualifiers a couple years ago, lol.
