I got gta 4 on steam and once i downloaded it and tried to play it said i need a serial number which is located on the back of the manual. -.- . Can some help me activate this?

i believe your problem to this whole situtation was buying gta 4 for the pc.

San Andreas was my favorite gta game ever. they didnt have it for under 5$ .

The serial key enables online play in games for windows live. If the steam key is rejected in the ingame overlay, open games for windows live marketplace and enter your key there, it will give you a new one. You can always play offline.

GTA IV causes many problems on pc.
