Just a suggestion
We all know that with most new updates (Patches) we find some errors and bug so here is my suggestion :
why dose not the developers make a private game (of crossfire) to test the new updates (Patches) on the private game first and ask players to report bugs and issues when they find it and then they fix it and when they find the (Patch) is completely working without any error, bug or issues they can update the CFNA to the new version
Note : the private game shouldn't contain lots of server it is just need one server with less channels (because it's just a test game)

They do have a test server to apply all of the patches before they're released, but there aren't enough testers (i think) to spot all of the problems
Considering they announced the patches before even testing them, they just had to release them that's why there are so many errors
Edit: ninja'd -
they should let other people to test the patches and report errors or issues or bugs
or every time they going to update the version people will keep spamming on forum about those errors
