bertman to Carbon, replaces Minty(?); Hammertimes future uncertain
Just a few days after PimpDemNikes departure from Hammertime, Albert "Bertman" S. has also decided to part ways with the team, deciding to join up with another North American powerhouse team Carbon. It appears the reason for bertmans departure is due to his ex teamate "Nova" is not a citizen but honestly, how hard can it be for the best non-asian team and a top 5 team in the world to pick up a starter? He will be replacing Sean "Sype" Simmons who was formally a starter until the dominant 'xfam0usx' showed up from his break from crossfire. As for Tommy "ty2k" K, he has apparently moved to the United Kingdom (Sources still unknown)
on the decision to part ways with the team, PimpDemNikes had this to say
in addition to that it had appeard that Team Carbon had wanted to pick up Jaime "Jaime" Orozco in replacement of Harvey just before the CF Stars Lan! Luckly Jaime who everyone knows as the player with a superior shot had decided to decline Carbon's offer (hmmm)
As for minty's future:
Many switches and roster line ups going on, defiantly going to be an interesting outcome during qualifiers
It is still uncertain what the future holds for Hammertime as the team has just lost its two leading fraggers. Especially with WCG Qualifiers on the way and OCG's summer tournament going on as they lead their Group in a 6-0 Victory.

I left because bert was joining carbon and because he's the biggest hypocrite and a scvmbag
Bert was not the first player they tried to steal from our team (which shows Carbon's weakness and how much of backstabbers they are). About a month ago, they asked twelvez to play for them. He said "maybe" since we weren't doing too hot but he would only join them if HT stopped playing. Because Twelvez said maybe, al said he's quitting the game. It took us a week to convince him to come back.

minty was gonna join us, but he also got an offer from socks (jaime's team). he decided to leave us and join them. After a week of playing with them, he got replaced with ralf. Now he got cut again. that's karma for you.

I took upon carbon's offer AFTER confirming that one of my teammates would not have been able to compete at national finals. You may say this hypocritical on my end because I was not happy with hunter (twelvez) possibly playing with them and now I am (playing with them). After being frustrated, I told him he can play with whoever he wants because ultimately it's his decision, and that I would just quit (They convinced me to play again in less than a day not a week as pimp stated). He decided to comeback and play with us and now we're here. I was not going to look for another player a week before qualifiers, and that is when pimp left the team. I am happy with my decision and hope I am good fit for Carbon.
I like the idea you have going. It will make the forums much more enjoyable and we will actually know the what is happening in the competitive community. -

I have checked with WCG USA, and this is what I got;

Sorry for the delayed response. We had to check with WCG HQ.
Teams are allowed to have up to 50% of their players participate who have permanent resident status, but are not US citizens. In case of a five member team, permanent resident status is allowed for up to 2 members of the team.
In case of a seven member team, permanent resident status is allowed for up to 3 members of the team.
