I was told that there would be a LAN qualifer alongside the online, again. Can anyone confirm this?

Is there really 0 teams registered? Unless registry just opened that is bad. It's in 3ish weeks.

i can't register to the none of the qualifiers...so i doubt any team has signed up yet

I messaged them on Facebook and they said that there will be a LAN, and that the date and location will be announced soon.

They also said that while the current amount of teams going to the LAN is 4 (the top 2 teams receiving stipend travel, the others having to pay their way), they will be increasing that number following talks with their National Finals partner, whoever that is.

I believe it's whoever does good on Online Qualifications goes to Lan and then a certain amount of teams from there go to where WCG is held. Not sure though.

Also I am fine with only 4 teams. No need to make my trip to china any more tedious than it needs to be. Although it would be nice to see quack and chubrub again.
