Recording CF without VoIP

Could anyone explain to me how to do this? I do not have 2 sound cards, so that option is out of the question. I just tried the VAC method and I could hear ventrilo just fine, however could not hear anything in game. Anything that you guys know of that could help?

I'm not an expert on this but I don't think it is possible without a second sound card. You recording sound is just recording exactly what is being sent to your speakers/headphones through one sound card. There is only one channel for your audio to go through so it can't circumvent the recording. Like I said, not an expert, probably am wrong.

However, I followed the steps and couldn't make Crossfire make sounds. Vent I heard fine through the Virtual Audio Cable, but CF was silent.
