Boomerang? lol

I know im gonna get a ton of hate for this but what if there was a boomerang knife thingy, but was not too hard to dodge, and you could throw it about 10 meters

ok i will admit i kinda started this thread as a joke, but some people posted some nice ideas.
what if when you threw the boomerang, you couldnt move untill you caught it? that would make it way less noob. and in gm, you were visible while the boomerang was being thrown. idk tell me what you think, it wouldnt be as bad as you guys think. (power of the knife too)

Imagine a whole team of boomerangs coming at you all at once, in a knifing match and it's a 3v1 or 5v1 situation, imagine this happening constantly... yeah, not going to work.

I could only support the idea if you were forced to stay in place while the boomerang flies.
Running around with a weapon that always homes back to you would be overpowered.

Would be too hard to incorporate into the game.

Throwing animation, what your character does in the mean time, how much damage, it's not going to happen.
