Nades almost muting sound

So when i get naded my ingame sound gets really muffled and it was never like this, was it patched to be like it or is it my game?

Almost always had that effect on me.

I think there are certain conditions that tend to proc this, possibly taking little to no damage but having the nade land very close to you.

I had this happen to me a couple times.

First time was because my audio codecs got updated, so I did a system restire and that fixed it.

Second time, I just tweaked my computer's EQ settings till it sounded normal again.

I'm not sure is it on sound driver or on operating system, you should check for sound suppression and turn it off if its on and after that try getting hit by granade again. I'll try to google where you can find sound suppression.

Look for noise suppressor in your Sound EQ depended on your sound card.
