250 FPS.. true or BS?
Whats up guys?.. I'm really curious if that 250 FPS in-game really exist cause I have a descent computer which only gives me constant 200FPS or sometimes spikes to 230+FPS, either 3v3,5v5 or 8v8 still thesame. so here's the my RIG.
Gigabyte G1 sniper 3 motherboard
Intel i7 3770k (overclocked to 4.6ghz)
dual GTX 660 TI SLI (overclocked if im in gaming mode)
8 gigs corsair vengeance RAM (1600mhz)
And i dont think that its bottle-nicking right? So can someone tell me do i have to do a little tweak on my nvidea control panel in order to obtain that 250FPS or i dont have to, cause 250FPS doesnt exist in-game or its a BIG BS? It doesnt really matter to me about having that amount of frame rate in-game or not, im just really curious coz lots of player talking about that 250FPS thingyyy. sometimes i wondered if my RIG isn't enough for this 1st person game (crossfire) but thats BS coz this game is only directx9 which a pretty old "game system". newer games right now are like directx10/11 which is BF3,metro,crysis3 etc... So im really confused, kindly share your ideas guys that would be much appreciated.

There was a 200FPS cap at one time. Not sure if they still have it. I get 180 spike to 220 at times. I use EVGA Precision to cap my FPS now. Capped at 150, stays right there. Alot of Video cards have programs to do this. A capped FPS will give you a better game play, instead of spiking all over the place.
