OCG Policy Change
Hello Gamers,
Due to a close result in the poll, with two options meeting in the middle, we hope we have come upon a solution everyone can agree upon.
- If you are caught in game using third party programs directly affecting the game script or caught hacking in game this will result in a permanent ban.
- Any Customization in the Rez Folder is a Three Day Ban (One Game Suspension with the other match getting over turned)
- Kill marks and Sound Modifications are allowed
- Warning System- this is a system where we publicly announce players who have been caught with cheats on their computer. We will specify the cheat name to warn the players and the last date it was active. We will give each player two warnings, and the third warning will result in a 2 week ban. After that warning if you are warned once more, that will result in a permanent ban. (THIS IS FOR HACKS NOT RUNNING)
All of this is because of the community’s feedback with all of us meeting in the middle!

Looks good to me. Now if they have cheats on their computer from before and accidentally didn't delete them (like in LOGIC's case) they will now know without getting banned.
Well from what Evan said logic was using hacks, and much more than just a red dot

If I remember correctly it was whatever guy they talked to on vent (who doesn't have access to the logs) who said that. Not 100% sure but I'm not going to look into it, I'm sure if I'm wrong someone will quote it. -

A: They were. And so were far worse cheats...I won't give out private data, but you should teamview him. I'll be nice and stick with the 15-day ban, but you should be considered lucky. -

Hey yall whats up, I'm the doctor, of the ******s. I am the brand spanking new head admin of Crossfire, now its been a fairly bumpy road through out the history of OCG with Crossfire, but now that I'm here, we all hope that the transitional period will be as smooth as that Lexus I know you all drive.
Now for that heckler in the back over there, here is a bit of history with my league past. I've played crossfire since the closed beta, I've been around in the forums since the inception, was even a mod for about 4 weeks. I created the first successful league and working anticheat for crossfire via VSGL, so I know what it takes to run a league in this game. I'm here to make quite a lot of changes in the running of the league, which you have already seen via the new policy change.
So stick around my furry friends, Dr.****** to turn tables!

I wouldn't be in OCG's spot right now but hypothetically if I was, I would tell my admins to learn English and not name themselves rejects23232 and matias24 when posting. You can't expect people to take you seriously when you don't even use proper spelling and punctuation. They aren't fit to run a league or a tournament of any kind, I can elaborate further but I'd rather not derail this thread further so you can PM me if you'd like. -

OCG is not z8games, their job is to ensure legitimate gameplay in their league. Their job is not to ban people that could've possibly cheated in crossfire at one point or another. -

Its confusing the killmarks and sounds modification is in the rez folder.. xD -

I think the general rule of thumb is REZ mods which don't require an injector to use are fine.

OT: All bans from this week will still be held for this week's matches. Bans will be lifting on a person to person bases for next week's games.
