wdf did I type?
anyways so you're saying that with the great server stability, it's going to be like this and it won't go back? like when torontonian had low ping?
Not sure what you mean by this.
We're looking at a few lag factors, but the fact of the matter is that we have not seen any server outage or crash in what seems like a record breaking time.
Admittedly we're close to the servers here at the office, but on my home PC I haven't noticed any lag and I'm still under 50 ping in Toronto. I haven't noticed any specific differences.
With some of the stability we see, we are going to have to tolerate some ping differences. But anything in the 15-30 range difference isn't going to change the performance of the game. And if we have to live with that rather than servers that are unplayable, then we'll do so until we can figure out the solution to that particular problem. -

Hold up,
The office is in downtown Toronto, and the headquarters are also downtown Toronto? or have they been relocated?
what is your ping at home right now and what service provider are you using? This same problem happened in 2010/2011 where after a patch my ping rose to 41, I upgraded my internet plan and my ping fell back to 12. At this state of time I have no intentions of upgrading my internet plan just to get my regular ping back since my problem is only on crossfire.
What happened to the 35-45 ping change wouldn't be noticeable? now it's 15-30? my ping is changed over "30" as my ping quadrupled and does affect the performance of the game. if I may ask why lately was the servers unplayable -
