Exactly, people are so prone to believing that everything the MOD's and GM's do are right that they don't even realize a blatant abuse of power. Smh.

Well this is a new step for welfare, Normally they just DQ a team who shet on them for a free win.. But now they are having mods kick during clanwars? What a surprise!

Couple of things.

First, why is this in the competitive section?

Second, if you have an issue with a moderator, take it up with Saidin. send him a PM. Believe it or not, Z8 would prefer to not look bad to the community. Crazy idea right? If a MOD has done something that you think is an issue, the most effective way to get something done about it is by contacting a GM via PM.

Making a thread like this in order to cause a crapstorm just makes it more likely that a GM is going to doubt your story.

So yes, I'm going to close it. And I'm going to link it to Saidin. And Z8 will deal with the issue, if they deem there to be one, as they see fit. But next time, just send him a PM man =\

I'd just like to address this post specifically while leaving this thread closed.

This is a two-way street here. Just because the clan is Welfare and contains a moderator in it, doesn't give any other clan an excuse to act especially immature, or go to any extremes.

This issue can be resolved normally, through the regular channels, the OP can PM me with the full details. But please be aware that our moderators take a lot in game. Being a mod shouldn't immediately ruin your game experience at the expense of not being able to act to enforce the rules of the game if it means having people make threads like this.

IE Player A insults a non moderator player and don't get kicked (probably because you weren't reported, or at the very least ignored). Yet Player A insults a moderator and gets kicked and it's abuse of power?


Many of the posts of this nature, for the public to see, runs along the lines of editing in a reality TV show. With the proper editing, in this case displaying of specific content or half a conversation, you can make anyone look like anything. And immediate gain some sort of crazy public uprising for it. So by posting this publicly it's already a potential to hurt the situation more than help it. Because not only do I have to now publicly stand up for a moderator, I have to now tell everyone that this information may not be the whole story, and it becomes a person vs person thing. When really, you could have PMed me, I could have reviewed the situation and said to the moderator, easy on the action. Help change things for the better. etc.


Lastly, I don't understand why you feel that the GM's or Moderators won't respond. I apologize for no one being online the moment every thread about moderators gets posted. But sometimes that's going to happen. Sometimes people are playing the game, sometimes they are working on more important things, sometimes people like to see their family, or maybe.. eat? Or sleep on occasion. I'm sorry if this makes it look like we're not available for a response for every thread.
