WCG Canada 2013
WCG Canada will send 13 players to the WCG Grand Final that will be held in Kunshan, China. (Nov. 28 - Dec. 2, 2013) Participants from across the country will represent Canada at the following 3 games:
- CrossFire (1 team of 5 players)
- Starcraft 2 (1 player)
- World of tanks (1 team of 7 players)
WCG Canada is proud to announce that its National Final will be held in Montreal, QC at the College de Maisonneuve on September 28-29, 2013. This event is a Bring Your Own Computer (BYOC) LAN party and will accommodate 300 gamers.

• Presale: 45$ (from August 22 to September 13, 2013)
• Regular: 50$ (from September 14 to 26, 2013)
• At the door (if available): 60$ (on September 28, until 1 pm)
Prizes
Over $35,000 in prizes will be distributed during the event.
• World of Tanks: $20,000 in prizes (represent Canada in China, cash prize and WoT Gold)
• Cross Fire: $12,000 in prizes (represent Canada in China, cash prize and ZP Points)
• Starcraft II: $3,000 in prizes (represent Canada in China, Absolute Furniture Industries - DX Racer chair and GIGABYTE Motherboard - G1.Sniper M5)
• League of Legends: $2,500 (cash prize)
In addition, a MSI Canada GE40 2OC-010US Dragon Eyes notebook, a GIGABYTE Motherboard - F2A85XM-D3H and an Absolute Furniture Industries DX Racer chair will be giving away as door prizes.

You can invite all the Crossfire fans you know to the WCG Canada Lan Center qualifier facebook event page Here.
It’s free for visitor, but if you want to compete you have to get a ticket and register on the WCG Canada web site. Make sure to complete all registration requirements!
1. Register on WCG Canada’s website
2. Go in the Event section About > Events
3. Select an event
4. Click the PayPal button “Pay Now”, once paid you will be redirected to WCG Canada’s Website
5. At the Bottom of the page fill the required information
6. Click Register

You have to be a citizen of Canada to compete in WCG Canada, same goes for WCG USA but instead you need to be a citizen of the USA.
Normally you need to be a Canadian citizen to be able to play for Canada. WCG has changed the rule for team games, we can now accept 2 permanent resident per team.
We can't accept American in the Canadian National team unless they are Canadian permanent resident. -
there will be a an online qualifier so, if you guys miss July 20th opportunity it will be fine.

Best way to get a seed at the National Final is to play bolt qualifier. -

WCG allows 2 residents of a country to play for the team now? Is it only for canadian teams (that would be stupid)? Can I see an official info on it? -

Is attendance to this LAN mandatory if we wish to make it to the National finals. Also, how many qualifiers will there be and is it confirmed that one of them will be staged online? (because on FB they're claiming that "that information is incorrect")

It is not mandatory to qualify for the National Final however, the National Final admission will give priority to the qualified teams and a limited number of participants will be allowed. It is better to qualify as this guarantees you will have a spot to compete at the National Final, plus you could win 1/3 of the registration fees for CrossFire -

Every players need to register and fill out the registration forms (that include the team name & the lan center they wish to attend)
Teams players don't need to be at the same LAN Center but all players must be per-registered on WCG Canada event page (we will not accept walk-in)
