2013 Summer Cup [Match Reporting/Disputes]

Hey Guys,
After a meeting yesterday, we will be checking the anticheat logs everyday from now on. We will not get behind like we did before. As far as the summer cup, we can add the teams onto the anticheat for this tournament, that is not an issue. Just to make this clear for future tournaments, etc that are not hosted by OCG, we are always willing to work with others, and share our program. We can offer some extra features to the host, that will help with everything going smooth.

Disputes are still looked into by checking up with ocg as well. The admins get in touch with ocg to check logs. -
The ruleset was changed half way and our team was not informed that we cud use ocg.
Our team has a severe issue with bandis because they all use bricks as pcs but they have major Fps dropage and Fps lag. Just pointing out the facts. Hope u guys make it fair. -Sleaze -

Well its your teams fault for not paying attention to the thread. Its double elimination, now that you know its aloud win the losers bracket and win the tourney. I don't get why people bother entering tournaments knowing they gonna lag due to recording and blame it on fps lag for losing. -

I don't think you understand our situation here. Our team asked if we were allowed to use it before. They said no. Then they said yes later on but we were not informed of it. How in the world is this "fair"? lol so you're telling me if I hosted a tournament I can go ahead and change the rules half way into the tournament? so why isn't our previous matches replayed with OCG instead of bandicam? -

I think he meant it is your fault you weren't informed. It was posted on a public thread with direct reference to the tournament. The admin can't pm every player telling them a new rule has arose. It is the players responsibility to review all threads pertaining to the tournament officially. -

I agree on this. If there's smoke it makes your fps drop even more so. Also, your reg is worse with lower fps (it feels like) and makes aiming way harder when others strafe and you can't focus on their head. -

Allowing it for everyone to use at their own discretion is completely fair. When changing laws the government doesn't have to inform every single person individually that it has changed. They simply put it out to the public and people are expected to inform themselves in one way or another. -

You must expect the unexpected hiding spots.
Prefire is needed when you peek and odd shots are basically normal in competitions,
Especially in LAN games.

I don't remember playing against Veracity at all or I guess they were playing against our new members...We do accept some random players in our clan to give them some tips and advice but that is all just for the scrim games.
Competitions are for s5 only.

My stance on recording was that because of bandicam being "detected" by X-Trap as a tool for some reason, players weren't able to have it on while playing the game. So, as a possible solution, the OCG anti-cheat was introduced and made available for teams to use for this event.
It was not a rule change but yes, more of an option at your own discretion. And because the X-Trap issue did not happen until the second/third week, I figured a lot of people won't stream or record with cameras/webcams. lol you said no to us before when I asked. I asked because some of our players have fps lag/mouse lag issues with bandicam. -
