Ladder bug

One of the gm's reply with when this huge annoying bug is going to be fixed, I don't like being able to run up ladders faster on my lenevo laptop that has 20 fps, then my beast desktop.

  • Lmao if you have Windows 8 , Its easy
    8vs8 game = 100 fps / 80 fps , Press FN lock , Press F11 ( Fps drops to 20 ) Climb on a ladder , Press F11 again ) Back to high Fps. Thats how i do it .
  • I don't know if it's possible to fix, due to the way this game deals with frames, however I'm pretty ignorant when it comes to the code of CF and the Lithtech engine so I could be wrong.

In the meantime, here's a little tip that might come in handy :O

Two ways to speed up your ladder climb are as follows:

    1. Hold Tab. Holding Tab normally causes a drop in FPS, which will boost your speed. This might not apply if you have a god-mode computer however.

    2. Climb the ladder by positioning yourself with your butt towards the ladder. Look slightly below a perpendicular angle to the ladder (read: barely look downwards). Run towards the ladder with S, and then when you're on the ladder, hold both S and W at the same time.

It sounds complicated, but once you get used to it it's fairly easy to pull off. Obviously this won't be useful in every situation, but it has helped me in the past a few times. Combining both methods works too :O
  • set fraps or bandi to lock fps

toggle it off/on @whatever fps you want

denxis method works too, but not as well since you have to look away

Might get banned in leagues for FPS manipulation though.

    would be untraceable

but it also wouldnt be something you could change at a lan, so you know. best to get used to the slow speeds an in-game mechanic aspect

I don't see why a league would ban for you lowering your own fps.

You can seriously mess with the game via FPS manipulation.

Depending on how you use it, it's more than justified to be bannable. The question in this case would be whether or not the league views it as using a 3rd party program to gain an advantage.
  • you can't just stop a recording randomly, it needs to be consecutively recording throughout the entire match. I'm pretty sure you can't change FPS limits during recordings, therefore a league can easily disqualify you.

An actual league has an ac. Which has nothing to do with recording

Step 1 is not working for me since my computer is somewhat god-mode I hold tab, the fps is still 200+.
Step 2 sound complicated but I will try :D

I could hold tab, on highest settings, while having 3 **** videos in quad monitors going, while streaming, and recording, and still have 200 fps.
