Now a disclaimer for the people who will get mad or cry about this.

-This is a joke intended to find some humor in a game where everyone gets upset at everyone, so sit back, relax, and enjoy the well intended humor this should bring.

For each team (I've heard of) I'm going to be doing a comparison to their closest professional sports team(no soccer or rugby, I don't know you=/)

Yankees - Lifeline is an older team who a few years ago was one of the most dominating teams in the sport, but with time they have started to dwindle from the top, players getting older, and some questionable roster choices have started to bring them down.

Celtics - Lpk is another old team who was at one point the most dominate US team in crossfire. Years later, they have revamped their roster, while keeping the core intact. Unfortunately the core has slowed with age, and is passed there prime. While still being able to make some noise, they fall short at the end.

On The Fly - Chicago_Cubs.jpg

Cubs - On The Fly are the cubs mainly because of the ability to pop up every few months with a new roster filled with some decent talent, able to make waves and get towards the top of the league, they end up burning because of hugely questionable roster moves and player personalities, that end up disrupting the team.

Browns/Pelicans - While mykl's teams have been around forever, and with the same people, they usually do not last very long, sometimes even ceasing to exist for a while (96-98 browns) With numerous moves/name changes, they have tried to make themselves look like a new team. But keeping mostly the same roster through each change has lead to their constant disaster and "2 week teams"

The Heat - Do I even need to give an explanation? They are the top of the line, complete all star riddled team. They made the team after a few players were sick of competing with each other, and wanting to win, made one super team. Coming off back to back titles, looking for their third this wcg.

Ehostage - New-York-Jets-Logo.gif
The Jets - Being loud, proud, and full of smack is the Jets way of life, and Ehostage has adopted it as their own. Known for their constant smack against teams, there declarations of being a top team, and their Smack talking coach (rex ryan) Drenner. Also like the Jets is the constant disappoint that happens when they play, seemingly always falling apart on what should have been easy wins in cfl, these hostages know what its like to be the Jets.

Thunder - Carbon a newer team with some huge talent on their roster looking to challenge Hammertime for the top spot at this years wcg. With a younger less experienced roster then Hammertime, look for these guys to develop faster then any team has yet.

Da Bears - HWG, like the bears has been around for a longer time, keeping a bit of the same roster, while always searching for that missing piece (IE QB) to carry them to victory, its been years, and haven't been able to stick with a carry just yet.


Obviously there are teams that I have forgotten about/missed, name them below and I'll try to get them up here.
Remember this is all supposed to be a light hearted joke for fun, so don't cry about it to much.

Kanata - Los_Angeles_Lakers_logo.png

Lakers -Kanata is comparable most towards the Lakers, as in they were people who smack talked each other (nash/lakers) and only got together because of the threat of not being able to beat better teams IE Hammertime/carbon. As the lakers, this combo has yet to turn to fruitration.
