Over here you have to maintain at least a 5.5/7 gpa each year to be eligible to pass and I'm close to my mid terms without studying that much at all and I'm at like 6. -

hmm interesting a 7 point gpa scale... never seen that before although i knew russia for example has a 5 point scale. Here it's on a 4 point scale and all i need to stay in the pharmacy program is a 2.3 and to keep my scholarship only a 3.0. I'm currently at a 3.58 and i doubt i'll ever drop close to a 3.0 so i have no worries

Not true, lol. They don't offer academic/athletic scholarships because they award FA that fully meets demonstrated need, like most big-name private universities. With a 30 billion dollar endowment, you'd have to be super rich not to receive any FA. My school doesn't have half the endowment and my FA is still over 50k per year. -

that's not the reason they don't offer scholarships. Every school offers financial packages but nobody in their right mind is going to take 50k+ loans per year on top of their subsidized/unsubsidized loans(unless you're planning to earn 200k+/year) especially since the time you graduate this 50k will probably be 60k+interest. Grad school costs money too... so lets say you go through law school and get your license and actually start getting clients. You're still 500k in debt and you can't pay all of it at once considering you need to live(food, housing, luxuries, etc). So for someone who earns a really good salary you'll still require 10-20 years to pay it off
