so i have a geforce 9400gt and i still get really bad fps, i get 110 in a 2v2 which is really good, but in 8v8 rooms i get 15-40? any tips to improve it at all? probly just buy a beter one....

do you use Gamebooster? when your playing?

try using less graphics such as blood off that improves FPs Kinda

lol i cant rem what my graphic card is cause ma uncle put in for me but i kinda get 120+ in 8v8 rooms

i just think you could get a better one

i used gamebooster n it dont help much, what graphics card do u have to get 120 in a 8v8? rite click properites on desktop, settings, advanced, n it should say there

Control Panel-> Performance INformation And Tools-> Adjust visual eefects ( its on the side)-> adjust for best preformance
it makes ur comp look out dated but it raised my fps by about 50 lol
its amazing

Your 9400 GT should get atleast 60 fps in a 8v8, maybe it's your processor or a PSU issue

maybe because crossfire is cpu dependent not gpu or memory dependent. . .

Well the cheapest way to boost ur FPS imo would be to get more RAM and if ur willing to spend a little more ive heard terrific things from the Geforce 9600 GT.

9600GT is a very good graphics card and I will recomend it to anyone as I have got the a 9600GT. I get 40-150 FPS in a 8v8 depending on the map and game settings, as long as you are not planing make a frag movie, its good enough.

Its not just graphics card that contributes to FPS in "Crossfire" but your processor too, the faster the clock speed of your processor is, the FPS the FPS will be.
