Zombie Mode Enemy Assessment
This is my personal opinion of all the zombies, mutants and other genetical freaks I had seen so far. Honestly, I probably think this won't go so well...But here goes.
Zombies
Threat: Very Low
Your regular variety of zombies. These slow guys are easy to kill, but pretty dangerous in numbers. Keep moving and keep shooting them.
Hunters
Threat: Medium
These are running zombies, and that can't be good! Make sure you are running at full speed and are clear of any obstacles behind you! Be quick about dispatching them though, because they will eventually outrun you.
Jumping Hunters
Threat: Medium
Native to Dining Theater, these jumping ones are hard to hit, even with an automatic weapon. Otherwise, deal with them as you would a Hunter.
SWAT Zombies
Threat: Low
Rifle-toting zombies native to the original ZM levels. These are more of a nuisance than a threat, as they fire slowly. They also have a nasty habit to appear on high vantage points.
OMOH Zombies
Threat: Low
Shotgun wielding zombies. Sidestep to avoid their fire, then shoot them.
Mutant
Threat: High
These guys are essentially a souped-up version of a Hunter, as they have much more health, and have the ability to accelerate.
Mutant Tyrant
Threat: High
A bigger version of the Mutant. Is the final boss of all Easy ZM sessions.
Dread
Threat: Medium
Like Mutants, but cannot accelerate, so they are less dangerous. Native to the original levels.
Dread Tyrant
Threat: High
A midway boss. Its a bigger Dread with more health.
Scorcher
Threat: Medium
A kamikaze-type mutant. If it gets close, a (!) appears over its head, and you've got a couple of seconds till it blows up for major damage! Either shoot it for points, or deliberately set them off, then run like hell!
Seeker
Threat: Medium
A mutant appearing in the later ZM levels. A puff of lingering smoke signals their appearance, most likely decreasing your FPS, making you prone to attacks. These mutants work just like hunters.
Crawler
Threat: High
Weak, yet dangerous enemies that tend to go in swarms. A well placed TH grenade will wipe out a good number of them, use a machine gun for the rest. Beware! If you are too slow with dispatching them, they will crawl under your spray and most likely kill you! Usually comes in swarms of 30. Native to the later ZM levels.
Blue Mutant
Threat: High
An infected mutant with more health and attack power. Quite a nuisance, as they tend to travel in groups. Native to the Dinner Theater.
Blue Mutant Tyrant
Threat: High
A larger Blue Mutant. Still as deadly as your regluar Tyrant!
Destroyer Jr.?
Threat: Very High
A midway boss in the Dinner Theater. It's main attack is charging towards you, which can be deadly, but easily avoided by sidestepping out of the way. He carries a laser cannon, but I've never seen him use it.
There is a warning just before he charges. Use that to your advantage.
That's all I can think of for now. If you have additional info, comment here! It is greatly appreciated!
