ModHub Downloader - Backups & Site Installing

Currently at 300 testers.Version 055
- Added mod backups.
- Added an extra setting to the client related to backups.
- Added the ability to install mods via the ModHub site.
A ModHub account is required for use. Currently in closed beta, apply via http://modhub.org/downloader

The problem with ClearUI is that it requires the management and basically wrecking of the CF script files, something that has no documentation (sure they're easy to understand but to see how they work you have to relaunch the client every time something changes). They get replaced every time the client patches, breaking the work that has been done.
I prefer to make things that I have full control from start to finish on or things that may change or happen with it. With these kind of things I can not only test, create and deploy them whenever I want I don't have to worry about something breaking for no reason.
UI mods aren't just a one time job, which ClearUI would definitely not have been, they're a massively time consuming life cycle which I just physically don't have time for I'm afraid.GoinFishing wrote: »I can't use my back button on your site, and I'm logged in, and it says I'm not. The back button reloads the stored version of the page you visited (the way the site handles cache). Press Ctrl+F5. -
Holy crap! This looks really good Rory¬!! You really have done it this time!! It's a shame that I don't use Mods so I won't be signing up but good luck and I hope it goes well!

One thing that I suggest you do is to add a search box on the website. You simply just type in the name of the mod and it comes up. I think this will be very useful feature! Good Luck!

There was a search before I revamped the site. It's one of the features I'm planning to improve before putting back up. -
the UI Mods on there are not even updated not really that many on there. only thing new on there is some killmarks but alot of them are nothing special. guess ok idea but to bad theres not more UI Mods and ones that are kept updated. there is one says in beta but its said that for who knows how long maybe a year or more. i think they just gave up on it probably stopped playing so just never finished it.
