Cheers, a few questions :)
Hi everyone,
I started to play CF during the summer with a few friends, however I am the only one that has stuck out with it. It is my first time playing a FPS so I am not sure what to expect as far as clans are concerned.
I recently used some of my BP to reset my KD, since I had a bit of a learning curve and slow start, but now I am starting to play pretty well. I am glad they added this feature in, I was not wanting to create a new character since I have put in a good amount of RL $$ into my character.
What I am mostly coming to this forum for is to ask how well organized clans are in these types of games. I have played other games and been a part of guilds/legions/clans whatever you may call them so I am acquainted with the teamwork and comraderie that goes on within. This is why I am interested in trying to learn a bit more of how it works.
I was just curious how I should go about maybe applying for a clan. I am not really going to be a fan of joining one of those clans that accepts absolute tons of randomers and nobody knows each other and there is no way to communicate. I preferably would like to find someone that at least has a ventrilo server to communicate, if that is possible. I have a microphone so that is no issue.
My average KD after an hour or two of playing is around 1.5-2 - somewhere in that range generally. The KD that probably appears on my profile is not reflective of my gameplay. I still have a lot to learn, so I am thinking joining a clan and playing amongst peers will help me.
As far as personal information. I am 21 years old, a college student. I am from Texas, so I would preferably like to play with people that will be online the same time as I am
How should I go about finding clans to apply for?
Thanks a lot for reading my long, rambling post

clans in this FPS are VERY well organized (most) and we are very competitvive in this game. if you want you can have a tryout at our clan. we have 2 ventrillo's and 106 players rank 27
BUT i cannot promise you anything. i have to try you out.

I actually spent some time here and they're pretty good at trying to get most if not all members to know the maps well, they also teach you some useful spots on some maps if you don't know them already.
Still I lasted one day here where they all RQ'd in a scrim and left me alone 'cause we played a good team. Still they've apparently fixed their issues. maybe worth looking into for some new players. -
well you could come to our clan i have 1 or 2 members from texas and we are online around them we are pretty organised here is our clan link: http://clan.z8games.com/clanstat_cf.aspx?guildid=46950
feel free to jjoin we will accept you and we will see how you play once we have some games with you
