As I've seen this suggestion come up in the past as well, I more of less lean on the approval side. However, I have the reasons to disagree.
I encounter frustration sometimes because of grenades that come directly to where I'm settled to snipe, especially in maps in Egypt and Chinatown. It's annoying to also have to quickly find cover and leave my sniping position to dodge grenades. Another problem being the abuse of them in especially TDMs. Players who cannot aim to throw grenades randomly toss them to a location, which pretty is on target. But instead of damaging or killing the enemies, they lit-up and sometimes team-nade their own players. I'm especially frustrated when that happens because I might sometimes be on a kill-streak and obviously you know too, being killed by your teammates is kind of silly.
Though grenades in TDMs normally cause a great deal of trouble for many players, I have my reasons to disagree as well. It is simply the ultimate source of gaining grenade kills for Soldier and Assasin badges. Despite people's criticizing insults, which usually would include comments such as "grenade noob" and "kick hacker", it's reasonable for me to exclude frustation from being a factor to remove this option of being approved to use grenades in TDM.

Well if VIP members make self-nade rooms...I'm sure its possible to make rooms with nade only for badges...
And thats why z8 should include the option of having a no nade/nade option...for badges -
If you leave it as an option it's fine and should be definitely added in.
If you want grenades join one that has it on
If you don't want grenades then find one that has then off
Really it's not that difficult. I don't know where you can find the negative aspect if it's an option as you can change it depending on your preference. -

That would simply encourage farming, which is something that Z8Games does not condone. To be honest, sooner or later, something'll be done against these self-nade rooms.
Having an option to activate or disallow grenades would be fine. I see that we can either restrict or not restrict flashbangs and smokes. So, I don't see why there can't be the similar option for grenades as well.
But, having an implementation which completely eliminate grenades from TDMs just won't be acceptable. -
+1 that "fire in the hole!" gets so annoying..

Easy fix for it, if you're smart you can take the no fire in the hole file and make copies of it and simply rename them and you can mod your cf so that there's no sounds at all.
