are game mods allowed and legal

i was thinking about moding my game but i want to make sure first its legal and second that it is allowed and i wont get band or kicked for making changes to my account such as changing in game icons and maybe my cross hairs and that sorta thing

believe me the last thing i want is a hack on my system

Depends on what you mean by modding. The ones you can do ATM is edit the sounds, like headshot etc and the marks like the headshot symbol.

Kill marks and badges on the other hand, aren't.

mhhh im not sure with the crosshairs because no 1 can prove and is was never said before plus u could just put a dot or sth on ur screen stickytape for example and its has the same effect and i think putting sothing on ur screen aint illegal btw

Any mod that gives you an advantage is illegal, so I wouldn't do crosshairs if I were you. In game icons shouldn't be a problem
