Kick votes and CrossFire announcements

I have seen today thread by Corvus0070 talking about getting kicked and losing his time in zombie mode just because there is some clan who gets in zombie mode room in progress and take over whole room. On daily basis people encounter failed whispers in lobby that say something like "please kick one so I can join". I have question about that.. If I screenshot one of those failed whispers, should I report them so that they get some kind of warning that kicking someone just because they want to play is wrong? I think making ticket just for that is wasting support team time but if some kind of warning would help players to use their common sense to simply see difference from right and wrong and put more work into being fair player I'll do it. I'm sure lot of players do that from time to time and it is wrong and I think we should see some kind of simple rules in CrossFire via announcements in game and they should be broadcasted more often.

  • What's the problem of that?
My clan do the same kicking those player out who doesn't play right.
Or who's are hacking. But most of the time we kick for fun WE want them to QQ in the lobby

    Well, then [insert insult here].
  • So you are the one of those who always press f11 eh? Well I suppose I don't have nothing to talk with you since you don't have any common sense about fair play since I don't see any valid reason for vote kick here unless making people miserable is valid reason for kick.

If you and your team play right, why don't you put more effort into helping that guy showing him the right way and trying to explain him what he is doing wrong? I know.. You aren't that kind of person but that is what I'm trying to say here. Most of people know what fair play is but they don't care anymore, its all about killing and taking off all kind of frustrations on noobs and kicking players they can't beat fairly. You know those noobs grow up and get smarter and then comes payback time but you see they probably don't have your knowledge what real fun in CrossFire with friends is. I had a chance to play with some people who started to play same time I did and over years we were getting better and played against each others so that we know where we are doing mistakes but we didn't had the problem to get respect from older guys who played and it didn't matter that we suck. You need to play against better player to get better yourself. Yes there were a lot of vote kicks back than but not as much as today because older players didn't care who is pro they cared about getting hackers kicked. So we are back at beginning but this time noobs are older noobs who were ranking up in worst conditions they could ever have and they mostly don't have any sense for fair play until someone show them what fair play is (at least in this simple game) and I'm sure I'm not in mood to start talking about how ridiculous reasons for vote kicks I see every day on normal chat which are macro or written on the scene.

Kick for fun - big NO!

Or in a shorter version: Don't be an ass. Be a horse. Yay.

    yea something like that :)

Anyway I wrote this thread because I want to know would such tickets be appreciated and maybe give some hint to place those CrossFire announcements in better use.
  • Well, why would you send in a support ticket about that, if there was no punishment for planned kicking? - So there needs to be some kind of punishment first, and temporary banning is probably a bit too harsh...
So I'm not really sure about what to do about it - except that Z8Games should take a stance; saying, that kicking legit players is baaaaad.
  • I agree with you and I think they should use announcements during whole day in Cross Fire that will remind them that kicking without valid reason is wrong. Temporary ban should not be too harsh for someone who can't act normal in public rooms or lobbies where there are all kinds of people of different ages/nationalities/cultures/religions etc.

I don't think you would do much with word "legit" because most of those vote kicks have nothing with hackers...
  • They are not gonna be able to suit the whole system..
There's gonna be flaws and they try to fix them
    For eg;
The recent chat update, I love it!

Though this may not be so good it is needed some of the time
We're just gonna have to deal with it

Yes I love it too but I don't think there is option to turn off announcements and right now I'm not sure are announcements connected with normal chat.
  • I don't see why there is a kick system in zombies anyway its pointless
