what a great compelling argument. after they read this, they will be sure to fix it and make it 'useful' by all the improvements you have suggested.
wait.. you didn't give any ideas... oh well maybe they can snap their fingers and magically fix it to what you want it to be.
rookie, different guns are good for different modes. the gatling isn't meant for hmx, it's meant for hero mode and mutation mode. and it's one of the best weapons for that. -
well rookie, any other MG is better than Gatling for either hm or mm
Ways to make it useful > make it more powerful
Less delay before shooting
Make it a little lighter
Make it have less recoil
basic stat changes
herp and derp
maybe further knockback than usual
option to mount/unmount it
stuff like that
I actually liked using gatling say 2 years ago
but now, br internet is worse than before, they teleport and lag 2 much for having the chance to get away. When they go in tank mode, you're basically screwed from weapon weight.
I also can't count the amount of times I accidently ran into a supply crate and died because gatling froze me in my tracks with its terrible mobility
