If you are using Windows 7 you shouldn't be surprised that it doesn't work. Read the stickies.

If it's not related to running the game, post the STOP error number here and any drivers that are mentioned and I'll see if I can track down the cause.

My cousin got a BSOD due to Avast anti virus and gameguard conflicting. Try shutting down your firewall/anti viruses when you run the game.
