why are screenshots needed?

When u report someone and send the replay, why do u also need to send screenshots? I mean, the screenshot can be photoshoped, the replay cant. Its even better when u have the video as a proof isnt it? I dont get it. Is it really necessary?

i would guess that screenshots are required to help them find the spots where the supposed hacking is occuring, so they dont have to sit through the entire video.

I think they mainly want the replay. And as close as you can get to the persons name.
