why cant i run crossfire with windows 7?

i cant download crossfire with windows 7, it says there is a compatibility issue, compatibility my ass, other ppl have windows 7 and play crossfire why cant i?

I just installed Crossfire on my Windows 7 RC partition last night. The first time I tried to run it, it gave me a compatibility warning and then said it was setting some compatibility settings on the program. The second time I ran it, it worked fine.

If it doesn't, try right clicking on the game icon and selecting properties. Then go to the compatibility tab and set the compatibility to an earlier version of windows.
