120ping vs 140 difference
i was playing a ffa, and i killed a guy, he said i was a noob and blah blah blah
then he challenged me, and i agreed
we had a sniper match... and i owned him
we had a rifle match... and i owned him
then i wanted a gm match... but full server lawl and then d/ced
then he joined a 8vs8 match, and i joined too, and i owned him
he said, i was a low pinger FOR HIM
and i told him, it wasn't about the ping, it was about his skills...
i had 120ping and he had 140 ping
there's not difference... 0.2 miliseconds? nothing...
i forgot... we both had good fps, it was a 1vs1 match lawl
what u think guys?
PS: i'll send the link of this thread, to the qqer, so he can understand(let's hope)

if ur normal ping is 90, and u get 110~140 when u're gf is playing, it's bad
cuz ur ping is not stable =S and that causes lag spikes, and lag spikes are horrible -

110 to 140 aint bad, and yep u'll get killed quicker, buuuut you also kill people quicker

i get 60 ping,i was in a sniper only match and let me tell you there is a huge difference against people with 30 below.I kept hiting him first with AWM but my shot dint register and his wich was like a whole second later did!
AND! if you are in a knife only and someone on the ther team has 30 ping below, and you have 60 abobe,you might as well quit
or avoid him/her.
Its just not fair that people get a huge advantage because of ping! Not only do they see you first,but also your shots dont register against them!

Your anoob, ping has ALOT to do with it: actually it's 20 milliseconds btw.
I have 180 ping and if i shoot 17x faster then a 10 pinger i'll still lose.
Crossfire is a ping server, not a skill server.
But i'm pro so i shoot 100x faster so doesn't worry me

I usually only notice a difference if my ping is 40 higher than my normal. Otherwise it all kinda feels the same to me.
Then, I have to admit, I get very p*ssed off at those <60 pingers. All my shots actually spurt blood from the enemy but it's no surprise to me when it says /ZERO/ damage. -
My ping is a steady 93, from Alaska.
If I'm shooting someone with 200-300 ping, I'll unload 20-30 bullets before they die, maybe have to pistol/axe them too.
If I'm shooting someone below 50 ping or so, I feel the difference. I may shoot their face 3-4 times and then I'll die because their actions got processed sooner than mine, whether I clicked before them or not.
Crossfire is as much about playing skill as learning to adapt for others' connections. Laggers - I'll spray burst a little extra, since they may actually be moving into that spray pattern. It works out for me. Low pings, I only tap for headshots and keep moving - they're too fast to stay in one spot. -
You do know that because we register things first, if we shoot at the same time, sniping for example this happens a lot. We low pingers will die first, and because we died, our shots null and you don't get hit. Now take SoldierFront for example, if this happens shots do not null and both people die, regardless of ping.

I've got 15-18 ping. used to be 12. And i see some people calling ME the lagger when they have 200 or so. and then they say something stupid like, "100-150 is no lag, 17 is to low that lag." And i just have to facepalm. :S People need to understand what ping is.
Also, low ping means hack apparently ._. I've got a pic of that somewhere let me find it

everytime i got owned in a weird weird, like tanking
i thought the person was chamming, but then i found out, it was his low ping
so everytime u think there is a h@cker u gotta check his ping, if it's 50+ difference, it's not chams xD, if it's lag xD
