petition for CF bug-fix!

ok, well, ive recently upgraded from win xp pro 32 bit to win 7 ultimate 64 bit, 512 mb ram to 1gb ram, new graphics card, better internet. basically, my computer is way better than it was a couple of weeks ago.

but, this new patch is REALLY bad! i checked my computers performance while running crossfre: 100% cpu usage and 812 mb ram usage.

WTF IS THAT!!??

before, i ran crossfire with NO bugs, now, i have to open task manager ALL the time to end crossfire!

before:
-trouble creating rooms
after:
-trouble pressing buttons
-incredibly long time to enter/exit room/channel/server
-trouble creating rooms
-extreme lag ingame (360 ping)

result: gameplay ruined

please, z8games, cancel everything in this patch!

please, tell some before and afters the patch such as mine (cpu difference, gaming difference etc...)

this could be a petition to returning to the old patch

To run Windows 7 x64 properly you should have a minimum of 2GB of RAM. You didn't mention what CPU you had so this could also be a problem.

What it looks like to me is Windows 7 is hogging resources so your game performance is becoming hindered, try ending any unnecessary processes.

actually, it requires 1gb for proper functioning, so i think both cf and win7 are hogging stuff, in which case... i dont know what to do, i dont want to go back to xp after all the hard work and all.

as well, i got a terrabyte of memory so i think that should be pretty good, i think its the ram, but as well the new patch, cuz in other games i have a lower ping (if still pretty high)
so it might also be my internet which HAS been bad lately

basically CF has been ruined for me
