LAN Blog: Shadow
Hey guys Shadow from Carnage, blogging from Ayrin's basement. The LAN was a huge success despite all of the technical difficulties, it was an enjoyable experience, especially to put faces on those who have played the game with or against me.

Day1 :
I leave my house at 12 PM to catch a train at 12 45. The train itself was pretty uncomfortable, and the fact that i was there for 4 hours was not the greatest either. When I arrived at Toronto Union Station, Ayrin and Johnson were there to pick me up. After that we had to bus 2 more hours to get to civilization (Markham). We ate Italian that night, scrimed once or twice before heading to bed for a long day (more than we could ever imagine.
Day2 :
Woah, Wake up at 6? Shower half awake, run outside and get in the car with Terror to get to the hotel where there LAN was. We got there around 7 AM and sat in the lobby until 11-12? We met Saidin, Jpurivs and delaco, and they were really really helpful throughout the tournament with all the tech difficulties, even if it was against him (Delaco, thats for you (:). Then registration until like 1, and then wait a match before our first one against Undaunted. We played Ankara, not necessarily the best map to play your first match but it went fine. I got crapped on first round in subway and Michael handled middle with zz well. After we finished up that match, we had to rush 5 mins lunch at Swiss Chalet because it took forever for the food to come out, then we played Breakout on Mexico. We played very well and moved up to round 3 against Web Gaming on subbase and man, if you want to have raw aim, play with these Alpha 7 guys. Their shots were crazy, with Ray on the rifle and Sweep on the awp, they played a very strong sub, finished first half 7-6 for us. We managed to pull through to move to the winner bracket finals against LL. Wow, wtf happened, we came out first half 7-1 and lost 2nd 7-1. That was probably the most crazy thing. The tiebreaker map was a 5 round half BW, where they beat us first half 4-5. 2nd half there was way to many tech difficulties however past it, we finished the game 5-0 moving us up to the finals for the LAN. We went out with the SNSD (Slant, Bizz, Fany, Wotip, Zezo) guys to eat and just have a good time until the finals. In the finals we played lifeline once again on mexico. We won T side 7-6. 2nd half came around, and we managed to pull ahead and finish the finals in a one match fashion. We gathered to take pictures of the cheque, with the friends, said good bye to all of the teammates then proceeded to drive 3 hours to drop Novroly off then all the way back to Jordans. The LAN was a very enjoyable experience and thanks to all teams for attending!
