hey guys,

I'm really not sure where to post this, either in barracks or here, but decided to do it here since I see many players having knowledge of streaming.

I would need help setting up my broadcast, I bascally know how everything works and such, it's just the hard thing to find the fine point between my max bitrate and buffer to be able to stream in 720p although it might be the case you have only a upload rate of 0,5mbps. I have no clue how to adjust that, so it would be cool if someone has the knowledge and time to help me out.

I know a decent amount about xsplit and OBS(open broadcast software)

xfire should be elsehd, I prefer skype though..

Simply do a speed test and see how much upload you have to work with. You never want to max out your upload, regardless of the speed, always leave some headroom. Also, always set the bitrate and buffer to the same values.
