it is a noob cannon. no skill required. you know what. recently i played against a guy one on one who only plays scar light only. i got the better of him with ak but it was really close
i suggested that he should play other weapons too. he then told me he is the same quality with any other weapon. we repeated the one on one and he was using ak.
in short: he was destroyed, making small to 0 damage. he wasn´t even spraying at all.
to sum it up. what can the SCarlight do for you?
take your skill away. and fast. -
I don't know honestly. I play in West Coast pubs, I don't see *too* many Scar Lights, definitely not 10 per room. I only really see real Scar Light crowding in scrims now, and the M12 is gaining popularity there.
The Scar Light delivers 3-5 shots at a head, due to no recoil & spread. Use any other gun, I guarantee you will NOT play as good. If you did, make a movie or it didn't happen.i use scarL,but i only aim to the head,so i dont feel bad for using it cuz whatever wep i use the result is the same: HEADSHOT ............ -

Always the same thing about this gun. I love this useless debate.
What people do care about other people guns? In my case I use K2 or M4-C. Thats the guns Im the most use to and with which I got the most of kills.
I get killed by people with Kriss, awm, deagle, m4, ak-gold, or what ever. I kill the same people with my guns.
What do you want more from this game? Kill or get killed, that's the game. Use whatever is necessary to do it. -

It is a "Noob cannon" when you need no skill at all to get kills. You just need to spray and wait for teh killz. That's why it's a "Noob cannon" b/c it's for the noobs, Noobs can aim?, No. -
This is for all you SL haters!
The objective of the game is to get kills and have a positive KDR!!, it doesn't really matter what gun you use to achieve your primary objective while playing CF. Scar Light is 100 times better than m4a1 in real life, its widely used my the american military now,that is why the gun has a better stats in CF than m4A1. I would say honestly any good player shouldn't QQ or whine about what gun his opponent is using. If you are so good then kill him with your weapon of choice rather than getting killed by a newbie and then start to QQ that he is using a noob cannon...nuff said

IF you wouldn't have necro'd this topic in the first place and actually look at the date it's rather obvious since the time of the first post the SL has undergone many changes with other guns mentioned in the post. And also, the mental makeup of the community has changed as well.
He plays in 2009, which instead of idiotically replying to something without looking at the date, you could've actually looked at the date! really, i see alot of pros/high ranked ppl using sl more than any other rank
i really dont get ppl calling scrub light a nob cannon and especially i dont get ppl calling the use r of the wep a noob
i mean if you gave sum1 a scar l, hes not a noob cuz the guns easy to use

The SL is a fairly well balanced when playing with well-rounded players. The reason is it's reload/draw/firing sound. The obnoxiously loud sounds of this gun make it almost impossible to make a good flank/clutch, which can turn the tide of a match. When in pubs, it's really not fair.

really, yah maybe the scar l needs to have like a little more recoil or sumthing but its a great gun and u cant call the user/the gun a noob just because its a good wep
give sum1 an m9, are they pro because it s a bad wep? no

I myself don't like either scar light or heavy , let em have it I don't care , I think they're junk
I do think it should cost a bit more and require a higher rank, would be less annoying having to hear all that noise from the cannons as they're spraying and praying -

i have never used a scar light before ( my rank does not enable me to purchase it) but i had great fun using the ak47 that i won in the black market. Powerful though high recoil....very good in long range. i would love to try the scar light though cos im still quite noobish.

There's one in the crates. It's okay if you just mess around, but making the SL your primary gun wich you seriously will use for all your games.. I don't know, feels like weak.
