Weird screen bug

Hey, I need help. For some reason whenever I open any type of fullscreen game, the screen turns out like this.



But when I close out of the game, it goes to normal resolution. Any help is appreciated

did you take this screenshot with the Cf screenshot system?

this can be happening due to wrong settings with you graphic driver or your monitor.
if you have a wide screen monitor, maybe the solution is the format options, most of the wide screen monitors have an option like "format options" in the graphic driver control panel and sometimes it is in your monitor menu.

graphich control panel: format options> with border / without border

monitor menu: image size> normal / wide

you should choose (without border) or (wide) so the monitor will adjust the game to your current resolution without the black stripes.

this should fix your problem for all games and programs that run in full screen.

and remember to set the right resoution when you get in cross fire, go to settings and choose the right resolution for better image quality. (your graphic driver may or may not support all CF resolutions)

Yeah I fixed it for him, it was his aspect ratio, was set to border instead of fullscreen
