Early Notice - Cross Fire Global League
Attention Competitive Mercenaries!
Being involved in the CF Competitive scene is starting to pay off! To the tune of some serious cash! How much? Well we can't confirm that yet. However we do want to announce the Cross Fire Global League!
The CF Global League will be a tournament Hosted by Smilegate, the developers of Cross Fire. It will involve 1 team from each version of the game fighting off in live competition for money!!
How can you be involved? If you're involved in the competitive community chances are you ALREADY ARE!!
This tournament is being set up very quickly, so we've already had to use some of the competition we have in place as a way to choose the team who is going to represent Cross Fire NA/UK.
We will be announcing some further details soon. But the FG LAN in Toronto will be one of the ways to determine our finalist. We know that not everyone is able to make it to the LAN, so we are now looking at additional ways to bring in a team, through the CFL and through another separate tournament are other things we are looking at. THESE ARE NOT THE ONLY WAYS.

Definitely a good sign. Was lurking Twitch a few days when I saw Crossfire as one of the top ten games. Turns out the BR scene has stepped up as well by streaming their own tournaments. Think they had roughly 4.5k viewers at peak. Wonder how many NA can get. ;p -
So is only 1 team for our version set and stone? or could it become a country based representation? It would be hard to pick a server for a playoffs when its NA team vs UK
Smilegate has this planned as by version. So only 1 team from ours unfortunately!
Currently we are looking at having a mini tournament involving the following:
FG LAN winner
CFL Season 1 winner
+2 other teams.
The 2 other sources of teams are to be determined at the moment. We will be announcing these details shortly.
