new GFX CARD problem help!
Hello, I recently purchased a GeForce GTX 550 Ti. My monitor uses VGA, but the card is DVI. I have a converter and It seems to be in working condition. However once I finished the normal setup and turned on my monitor and computer, my monitor got no signal. I don't really know what is wrong with it. I tried a bunch of stuff in the bios, but I don't think that is the problem. I think it is something wrong with my power supply (inadequate power for the card). My power supply is an OCZGXS700. It get's 50A on 12v rails. My new card requires 24A on 12v, so everything should be good. However, I looked more closely at the power supply, and it has like 5 different 12v's, each with 18A instead of the supposed 50A. I really want to use my new card, but I have no idea what the problem is. PLZ HELP!

first off never buy a 550ti
second never ues a vga to dvi adapter
and finally goto the store return that junk and buy a dvi cable -
Be sure to install the latest drivers.
Cords are connected properly
Try reinstalling the card, perhaps it's not inserted correctly
Go into your monitor settings and change the input to VGA
Please stop talking about computers, you made me hate you enough when you said "The psu should be fine, crossfire doesnt draw much power"
1. No, if that was the problem the screen would be glitching
2. Obviously they are if he can get to bios
3. See above
