  • My opinion?

    1. Has been suggested before. So instead of posting a redundant idea, you would have done better by supporting those who had suggested this before.

    2. the Knight SR-25 is not a bolt action sniper rifle.

    3. A suppressed Knight SR-25 has been suggested by yours truly, and can be found here: http://forum.z8games.com/showthread.php?t=237428

    4. This thread isn't really a suggestion, but more a request.
  • didnt know it isnt bolt action
i just think that if many people post threads for a weapon GMs might notice that and consider adding it...

You're wrong. GMs will sooner notice a suggestion that gets a lot of feedback, then a suggestion that gets a lot of copy threads spammed.

When GMs are looking for what's popular with their players, they press the [replies] button to get a list of suggestions that are getting the most feedback. Which means all the duplicate threads with 2 or 3 posts in them, will automatically drop to the last 100 pages on the suggestions board, never to be looked at.

Thus why it is stupid to spam duplicate threads. You are lessening your changes of getting the GMs' attention with every copy.

but you said not to necro-post in the other thread. I'm confused

Learn what qualifies as necro-posting, and what doesn't. If the last post in a thread is more than a month ago, then it qualifies as a necro post.

One question. I just want to learn from a great mod such as yourself.

Let's say a suggestion gets 100 postive response. The thread is not closed but like every other thread on this forum, it dies. Let's say one guy decides he wants to suggest the same idea. He searches it and finds the thread with 100 positive responses but was made 2 month ago. Should he create a new thread or comment on the existing thread?

Neither. A thread that has a 100 positive responses has already been looked at by a GM, trust me. So it doesn't really need to be bumped or suggested a second time, unless it is an improvement on the original suggestion.

So once an idea is suggested there is no room for discussion? Well that sucks.

So basically if you've already suggested it you gonna go crazy on another post whilst telling people not to comment on old posts like yours? What if he wants to comment somthing like idk about amount of bullets....? Some people on this forum is stupid he should be able to comment on your post if he likes the idea, shouldn't matter how old it is...
  • Yeah, i would totally want a Silenced Sniper Rifle.

Or atleast some way to obtain the VSK-95 Permanently.

But oh well. - I'm down with my Perm PSG-RD/SL8.

It's not a necropost if you bring something to the discussion, not just saying "+1".

And yeah, a lot of people are these forums are stupid, they can't even follow simple rules.

Read the "Unless it is an improvement on the original suggestion" part of that post again, and then facepalm yourself for asking for the obvious.
