the aug is a definate choice for you, and i disagree with aznboysam, i think the damage is pretty ok, mid range you can hit a nice spray and theyll drop before the recoil takes over, long range youll see many 1 shot hs
. and its a hs machine mid/close range.

I love my aug, the way it feels, the zoom, the headshots.
This is coming from someone who feels pretty comfortable with an m4 and k2.
Long range is great, same with mid. Close range it's not so good, depending. The zoom makes up for it to me, lots of fun. -
I love my AUG camo and my AUG basic. ill let u try either one anyday, just whisper me ingame, my ign is InsideMen. The AUG is very hitbox distinct, what i mean is, if u kill someone by shooting their arm, they die in maybe 6 shots. If i kill someone by shooting them in the chest it takes 3-4 shots.BUT that is inscope, when out of scope power is slightly decreased just as the rate of fire is increased(vice versa for shooting inscope).
The AUG is a GREAT spray gun if u r a former AK user. I spray with my AUG Camo that has 5+ rounds and everyone calls me hacker because of the fact that im not a spray noob, but i know how to control spray and u constantly hear HEADSHOT! lol(maybe its just me and my skill iunno)
I will 1v1 any person in an AUG match(only AUG's used) and come on top
REMEMBER:whisper me ingame if u want to try either gun (AUG camo or AUG basic) or try to beat me in an AUG match -
Im a professional at owning with aug/scope weapons(except xm8&g36).I know its uncontrolled spray pattern and i know good camping spots with the AUG.This gun doesnt have a one shot headshot(2 shot headshot) though and not very powerful(SORTOF powerful but it takes like...IDK 4-5shots per kill).Its not a noob prefered weapon...more of a head shotty weapon :l

Dont diss the damage bro, i can beat some guy with a frikin Ak at close range (IMO i prefer Ak) but just saying, plus its frikin tank accuracy, and its got a good ROF and the reload is ok if u can use it well (i recomend sidearm, namely anaconda cause it has quicker draw) so the AUG is a good gun, if u can use it well it is tank!! Dude AUG is a 1 sot HS frikin noob!

The Steyr Mannlicher Aug A1, designed for counter Sniper activities lives up to it's purpose in this game. Any target, big, small, medium that ugly little rat like dog that barks at you as you come up your driveway, they don't have a chance.
I love the AUG, I've played with it since I started playing the game and I've been playing the game since only the core maps were out. It's a 1 Shot HS and if you watch it's spray, you can make it go whichever way you want. Hit me up in game and I'll make an angry face for you with 7.62 MM NATO rounds.
