resell gp crates for a lower price

But to be brutally honest. - Why not spin it to the end and possibly win a second one?

You could break it up, and end up with some K GP and EXP from those matches.

I'd rather just keep them. I always like the feeling of getting the chance to spin crates whenever. Sadly I'm really low on gp right now, so can't buy some crates to spin from time to time.

Because I'd rather win 2 different guns than win 2 of the same gun just because I was short on GP and couldn't buy more crates.
