INTRODUCTION

Well, my name is Jiggilypuff, and im going to write an guide for sniping in Crossfire. Sniping can be easy and hard for certain people. I'm not a professional at sniping, nor a rookie. I find myself in between them. Well, here goes nothing, i present to you my CF Sniping guide!

ESSENTIALS

These are the essentials for sniping, if you don't have these it's probably going to be very difficult for you to snipe.

- A decent sniper
- Patience
- Some muscle memory
- A brain of some sort
- Good reaction time
- PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE!
- A pistol

THE SKILLS OF THE SNIPER

Well, these are the skills of the sniper! These are covering from hardscoping, quickscoping, etc. I will rank these into 3 groups, Novice, Average, and Professional.

[Novice]

Hardscoping - Hardscoping is aiming your scope by pressing [Right-Click] and aiming precisely at the target. Pretty simple. Effective at long range, never do it at close.

[Average]

Quickscoping - Quickscoping (or QS for short) is zooming in your scope and shooting at the target very fast. You can do this by (Right-Click), (Left-Click), (Q), (Q). You will have to do this very fast in order to do this correctly. Make sure you have a good idea of where your shooting.

Drag Scoping - Drag scoping is almost like hardscoping, but with a bit of a twist. So basically you do what you do when your hardscoping. But then when you see an enemy, their not exactly on your scope. This is when your muscle memory comes in handy. Quickly drag your scope to them and shoot. It will take some practice at first but then you will get used it.

[Professional]

No Scoping - Exactly what the name says, and it's pretty self-explanatory. You shoot without scoping in. This shot is pure luck and should NEVER be used unless when your at close range. And when i mean close range i mean up in their face close range.

Trickshots - Trickshots is when you do all sorts of different types of shots like you do in those sniping montages. Trickshots really shouldn't be played in real matches unless your just bored. Trickshots are hard to pull off since it's gonna be hard to do some 360's or something like that. I recommend this for making a montage or something like that.

SNIPER TIER

This is going to be the sniper tier list (if you didn't know what a tier list is, it is a list of the best sniper to the worst). The tier list will be separated into 4 groups: Cheesecake, Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3. I will not mention any varieties of snipers.

Cheesecake - Probably the best sniper(s) in Crossfire.

Tier 1 - Good choices for snipers

Tier 2 - Your average sniper

Tier 3 - Not recommended

Cheesecake:

AWM - One of the best, if not, the best snipers in the game. AWM is often compared to the DSR-1. I prefer the AWM for a couple of reasons, AWM is unlocked earlier and is cheaper than the AWM. AWM is has double-zoom scope so that will help you at long range. I also am more comfortable with the AWM. It's really up to personal preference.

Unlocked: Staff Sargent
Cost: 56,000 GP or Black Market / 7 days

DSR-1 - Often compared to the AWM as stated below, the DSR-1 has a faster reload rate, RoF, and is lighter than the AWM and hasn't have a double-zoom scope.

Unlocked: Master Sargent 1
Cost: 68,000 GP

Tier 1:

PSG-1 - The PSG-1 is a deadly sniper rifle if used correctly. The PSG-1 is probably the best semi-automatic sniper in the game. The downfall of this gun is that this gun cannot be obtained permanently. This gun is deadly in almost any way.

Unlocked: N/A
Cost: Black Market / 7 days

Dragunov - The Dragunov is a semi-auto sniper and is a very nice sniper. The Dragunov fires faster and by aiming at the chest of your opponent, it is possible to kill with one shot, so in the right hands, it can be just as deadly as an AWM.

Unlocked: Sargent
Cost: 55,000 GP

Tier 2:

M700 - The M700 is the default sniper in crossfire. The M700 is very deadly if used by a pro though not recommended since it is the weakest out of all the snipers in crossfire.

Unlocked: N/A
Cost: N/A

Tier 3:

Others - Look i ain't gonna do a short review about every single sniper in the game since i don't have all of them. So i'm just going to put the rest in Tier 3

TIPS AND TRICKS

Try putting a dot in the middle of your screen.

Practice with a buddy.

Get a pistol if your not very good in QS.

ENDING

Well this is my guide about sniping, well hope you enjoyed ^.^
