New mouse
I just bought the Logitech G400, along with the mousepad Steelseries Qck+ Heavy.
I was just interested if these settings below are the proper one(s) if you're trying to get as best as possible while playing with M4A1.
• Dpi 400, also set as standard
• 4 Sensitivity levels; 400, 800, 1800 & 3600
• 1000hz
Acceleration [] (not checked]
I tried with it ingame, but the mouse was all laggy and I could barely move it. This happened before with my old mouse and I then tried to reinstall the game and it worked fine after reinstalling. So that's where I'm at now, just trying to get some opinons meanwhile downloading.

Mouse setting are all about preference. I currently use a Razer Naga with 3000 dpi, 125 hz polling rate, 0 acceleration, 0 sensitivity on CF, with Windows sensitivity 6 notches when counting from left to right. Mess around with it a bit, granted if it is not "glitchy", and see what you like best.

Try and buy a gaming mouse if you have not already got one,
I used any mouse and i encountered many errors but gaming mouses solve my problems when I play games
His very first sentence states his mouse... G400 is a gaming mouse. -

Thanks for the response. I changed it to 125hz since that's what most of you suggested (don't really know the difference and how it affect the game), but it seems pretty decent. I guess it takes a while to get used to. I had a MX518 before, with an EXTREMELY smaller mousepad than the Qck+. Back then I had it on 800dpi and around 10 sens.
Now, when having this big mousepad with so low sens/dpi, makes it really hard to turn more than 180 degrees. I have to lift and drop it constantly when I walk around. It's a bit tricky but I guess it's just a matter of time till I get used to it.
I'm playing with 400dpi and 6 sens now. Maveloff from hammertime(my fav cf player) is using those settings.
Oh and should acceleration be checked or not? -
