Loyalty program for long term players?
Perhaps suggested already but here's an idea:
Why dont you implemement some kind of loyalty program for long term players (activity rate tbd)
This will keep players playing knowing every so now and then e.g. on yearly base they will get rewarded for continuiing to play CF
Perhaps some weapons and the longer you have been a member the better rewards you get?
For example:
1 year - knife stripes or something or a 1 year anniversary hat/backpack etc
2 year - some kind of reskinned m4 or ak for the 2 year anniversary
3 year - shovel axe whatever...you catching my drift?
4 year - etc etc
Now all of this should be looked at seperately from ribbons...in this case someone who doesnt have the honourable soldier ribbon could still get a yearly reward thus account is active (yes i still have my ribbon) Why? Because a die hard hacker will not last longer then a year i guess before that account is banned anyway. And also hackers from the past get a chance to redeem themselves knowing good things await them in the future with these special loyalty rewards. Same goes for others who have lost that ribbon in various other ways.
what do you think?

Here's how I think of it. The big reason they wouldn't do that is because, they wouldn't make money, correct? There are other reasons of course but that is the main reason.
Now, lets say somebody buys 100,000+ zp in a couple months to a year, but doesn't get anything permanent. That would be a pretty big reason NOT to keep playing the game. So they did what you have just said, that is good enough reason for some players to keep playing. Remember, this game is so powerful that if they stay on long enough to get the weapon they will be compelled to buy more zp anyways. But, not a lot of players, and they still wouldn't necessarily make money, especially if the players never buy any zp.
So on that thought, they should make small permanent loyalty rewards for time since register/ other challenge. So the achievements could be:
Play for (X hours) in the course of (X years), and buy 50,000 zp
Have been registered for the course of (X years), and win a permanent blackmarket/slaughter ticket weapon.
Etc, etc.
There is pretty much infinite time and accomplishment variations, and plenty more things they can think up to keep making money and to keep the players happy. -

Btw, i meant that winning the permanent weapon is part of the challenge, not the reward.
