Windowed Mode while playing cf (W7 64bit)

I recently built a new computer and I can't run my game in full screen. It's extremely annoying and there's no way to play this game like that.

Any ideas how to solve it?

Same Problem here...still. The funny thing is, when i updatet my ATI Driver it worked for like 2 games then is was broke again. I can play in winowed mode or in a totally f*****up fullscreen mode where half of the screen is cut off. So i prefer windowed mode...but i don't like it.

if i go to my graphic card, i can play in 800x600 resolution(center) and full screen

but i heard its only possible to play games fullscreen on windows 7 with a nvida grapic card. o.0

most people who use an ati graphics card do not have the latest widescreen resolution for crossfire. (just a resolution that your card doesn't support) the sides of your screen are black and will be black until crossfire releases a new resolution that will fit your ati card. (which is most likely 1600x900)

i have this problem as well. all you and i can do is hold tight and hope they pump out more resolutions.

why it only does this for windows 7, i have no idea. it's so hard to aim

Hey, I had the same problem after I updated my graphics card... so here's how to fix it, go to your Crossfire settings and check the resolution... if it says 800 X 600 or something like that... I prefer to set it to the maximum, but that depends on your screen.. then you exit the game, right click on the desktop and go to screen resolution, then you set the resolution on the resolution you saved on the crossfire settings.... then after this, you restart crossfire, it will automatically be full screen, from there your screen will detect that you run crossfire in this resolution, then you can exit the game, reset your resolution back to normal and each time you restart crossfire, it will go back to your preferred resolution. Done
