I get 60+ fps with the processor. I don't have a gpu. I would go with the phenom quad core . Its much better for gaming.

For one, that CPU is garbage. Two, the video card is old and even more garbage. Three, that motherboard is not compatible with the CPU you have.

Quad core is ok but really it's a rip because only 3 of them run at any given time. Read up on it in pc mag's

Not exactly. Some games are optimized for multiple cores and some aren't. Games like Battlefield 3 will utilize more than 2 cores.
